1) What is your return/refund policy?   

Due to our handcrafted and custom-built process, we are not able to refund custom club(s) once the order is received. We do not pre-build any clubs or sets and always build them after your order is submitted, to your exact specifications.  

Once an order has been placed in the system, we are not able to make any changes to it. If you need to make a change, you will be charged a fee. We strongly encourage all orders to be reviewed thoroughly before purchasing.

To ensure you order the club(s) that are right for you, we highly recommend using our online fitting tool, HoganFit, and taking advantage of our Trial Program to try any club risk-free for 14 days.  

2) What if the club(s) I received are damaged or become damaged? 

We guarantee our workmanship of a period of one (1) year after purchase. If you have an issue with any club purchased directly from the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company, we will be happy to assist in correcting the situation by repairing or replacing your clubs. Just give us a call at (844) 53-HOGAN. 

3) When will I receive my order? 

Most orders are shipped within 5-10 business days after your order is placed however your order may be delayed due to Covid-19. Please see above for updates.  
Domestic US orders are shipped to physical addresses only. No post office boxes please. Shipments are FOB Fort Worth, TX (76134). Standard shipping is via UPS Ground. 
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email shipping confirmation containing your tracking number with a link to the carrier's website to track your shipment progress. 

4) How do I track my order? 

After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation. When your order is complete and shipped, you will receive an additional email with your tracking information. If  you do not receive your domestic order within 5-10 business days, please call (844) 53-HOGAN to speak to a Customer Service Representative. 

5) How do I get fitted for Ben Hogan golf clubs? 

If you don’t already know your specifications, we first recommend using our online fitting tool, HoganFit 

If you prefer an in-person fitting we recommend you see your local PGA Professional, or visit a company that specializes in custom-club fitting such Club Champion© or other local fitting pros. Our list of club builders can be found on our Find a Fitter locator.  

Our fitters can provide you with a non-brand specific fitting for a fee. In turn, you can send the specifications provided to you to the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company so we can custom- build Tour-quality irons, wedges, hybrids and utility club for you. There is never any charge for loft, lie, and length customization, and we provide standard or mid-sized grip options. Best of all, you’ll receive your Ben Hogan golf clubs directly from the factory without paying any retail mark-up. 

6) What are your customer service hours? 

Live customer service is available by calling 844-53-HOGAN Monday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time, Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Central Time, and Saturday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time. All voicemails left on that number, and any inquires made by email at '' will be answered within two (2) business days. 

7) How do you measure your clubs? 

Remarkably, there is no industry standard in way manufacturers measure their shaft lengths. Our length standards are based on the historic Ben Hogan method of measuring on a Hogan length board to the last grip ring. 

8) Why our clubs tend to measure long? 

There are no true ‘industry standards’ when it comes to club length and many other club specifications ... every manufacturer is different.  

Our standard lengths, which are shown for each product along with other important specifications on our website, tend to be on the longer side when compared with those of other companies. There are a couple of reasons for this:   

First, we measure the overall length of our clubs from the ‘heel’ of the club head to the second ring on the grip’s butt cap ... where the shaft typically ends ... the way Mr. Hogan insisted.  

Also, at Mr. Hogan’s insistence, we firmly believe in consistent 4-degree loft gaps between each iron to provide meaningful carry and total distance differences (ideally between 12 – 15 yards) between each club.  

Unlike Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company, many golf manufacturers have dramatically strengthened the lofts of their irons in recent years (known as ‘loft jacking’) in an effort to make various marketing claims about “increased distance”. The lengths and lofts of our shorter, scoring irons tend to be similar to many competitive clubs, but Ben Hogan mid- and long irons (specifically the #4 iron through the #6 or #7 iron) sometimes have weaker lofts.  

As a result, the lofts and lengths of our longer irons specifications are sometimes quite different when compared to those of manufactured by our competitors who ‘compress’ lofts between these irons. In effect, this loft compression combined with very little difference in overall club length creates very little difference in overall distance between irons. Ben Hogan long irons will create higher initial launch angles but similar overall carry and total distances when compared to competitive irons with stronger lofts and shorter lengths.  

9) Do you make left-handed clubs? 

Yes.  Many of our irons and wedges are available in left-handed models.  

10) Do you sell 'short' iron sets or 'split' sets made up of various models? 

We do. Check out our very popular Player's Combo Sets that feature PTx PRO irons 5-7, ICON irons 8-PW and your choice of 4-iron in either the PTx PRO, UiHi Utility Iron or VKTR+ hybrid. We also offer our PTx PRO and Edge irons in 4-PW, 5-PW or 6-PW. 

12) Are the ICON irons defined as “blades”, and made only for the better player? 

We actually try to avoid the use of the oft-repeated terms “blade” and “game improvement” to define irons. And the ICON irons blur that line anyway. We have applied an entirely new approach to iron weighting to deliver the precision, feel and ball control normally reserved for “blades”, with a measure of forgiveness that compares to any “game improvement” design. The result is that you no longer have to sacrifice one for the other. Our testing proves that most golfers of 12-15 handicap and lower will experience improved performance with the ICON irons.  

13) Do you sell components only? Things like heads, grips, etc.? 

No, we do not sell components at this time. All clubs are fully assembled when shipped from our facility. 

14) What are my shaft and grip options for the clubs? 

Availability is shown on the order pages. We currently offer seven (7) different iron shaft options (steel and graphite combined). For woods and hybrids, we also offer multiple graphite options.  We also offer standard and mid-sized grips, all at no additional charge. 

15) Do you accept International Orders? 

Yes. Ben Hogan Golf will ship anywhere in the world. We are not able to ship golf bags internationally. You can order online, or speak to one of our Customer Service Representatives by calling 1+(844) 53-HOGAN.  

*Flat-rates for orders over $400 and under $1400: $50 to Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand Residents and $40 to Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America Residents

16) What forms of payment do you take? 

We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.  We also offer short-term financing through KLARNA. 

17) Why was I charged sales tax? 

Texas law requires us to charge sales tax on all orders shipped to an address within the State of Texas. The rate is 8.25%, and by law is charged on the purchase and the shipping costs. 

18) Do you repair any Ben Hogan Equipment produced by the previous company or another manufacturer of Ben Hogan Equipment? 

Unfortunately, we cannot repair or support of any products that were sold by a previous iteration of the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company.  

19) How do you protect my information? 

We respect the privacy and security of our users.

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any fraudulent charges as a result of shopping at our online store, we will cover the entire liability up to the $50.00.
